Abstract

The phenomenon of population aging is increasing and becoming a major concern for management in each country around the world. Thailand has a rapidly and continuously increasing proportion of the elderly. Over the past, the health care system has promoted health care of people from the working-age to the elderly with good quality of life. The health care management system for the elderly with chronic illnesses to have access to a comprehensive and accessible service system. The purpose of this paper is to present the importance of community health systems with the aging care model by studying the model of the implementation of the elderly care system of each agency in Thailand. It was found that Thailand has continuously driven the elderly operation related agencies and organizations but there is still a lack of linkage and collaboration between agencies and actions within the community. Therefore, cooperation between government and local government agencies should be developed for sustainable care for the elderly by developing a model of health service and social welfare for the elderly with integrated integration with agencies in the community area to suit the context of each area
