Administative Factors Related the Prevention and Control of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Among Village Health Volunteers in Mahasarakham Province

This study is a cross-sectional descriptive research aimed at examining the factors in administration related to the prevention and control of dengue fever by health volunteers in the community, Health Promotion Hospital, Ban Non Tae, Tha Song Khon Sub-district, Mueang District, Mahasarakham Province, in the Chaweewan Jantrak year 2024. The population under study consists of 165 health volunteers in the village.The research tools used in data collection are questionnaires designed for quantitative data collection. The questionnaire content was validated by three experts, and each question had a content validity index greater than 0.50. The questionnaire's reliability was assessed using Cronbach's alpha, resulting in a coefficient of 0.97 Data collection took place from February 12, 2024, to March 12, 2024. The statistical analysis employed both descriptive and inferential statistics, with a significance level set at 0.05.
The study found that overall, the levels of administrative factors and the prevention and control of dengue fever were high, with mean values of 2.62 (S.D. = 0.28) and 2.67 (S.D. = 0.28), respectively. The study also revealed a significant positive correlation between administrative factors and the prevention and control of dengue fever among health volunteers (r=0.792, p-value<0.001).Furthermore, the study identified that the three independent variables, namely management factors in organization, time management factors, and technology management factors, were correlated with the prevention and control of dengue fever by health volunteers in Ban Non Tae, Tha Song Khon Sub-district, Mueang District, Mahasarakham Province.
