The purpose of this action research was to investigate the development of the executive management of workforce’s health in Mahasarakham as 5 components of the Ministry of Public Health. The total sample comprised 67 Mahasarakham public health officers who get involved in executive management of the workforce’s health, selected through a purposive sampling method. The sample were developed by taking part in learning activities followed the participating process of Cohen and Uphoff method and carried out activities using Deming Cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act; PDCA)) from October 2561 B.E. to August 2562 B.E. The quantitative data were gathered using questionnaires, recording group discussion and they were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired t-test., Significant level at 0.05
The findings revealed that the sample increasingly participated in executive management of the workforce’s health after they were developed from Cohen and Uphoff process and Deming Cycle. On comparison, the sample had more average level after the development than before with statistically significant level. (P<0.05) Also, the procedure level of the 5 components of the workforce’s health development had more average level after the development than before with statistically significant level.
(P<0.05) The crucial factor to the success is that the responsible officers clearly realized their roles in working, the strength of the officers’ characters, the clear policy and follow-ups and the support from the administrators.
