The Autologous Transplantation of Tooth: An Alternative Treatment Option
Abstract
การปลูกถ่ายฟันให้ตนเองคือการย้ายฟันจากตำแหน่งหนึ่งมาอีกตำแหน่งหนึ่งในขากรรไกรของคนเดียวกัน วิธีการนี้นำมาประยุกต์ใช้รักษาทดแทนฟันที่ขาดหายไปโดยกำเนิดหรือสูญเสียไป เนื่องจากอุบัติเหตุหรือทดแทนที่ฟันที่จำเป็นต้องถอนออกเนื่องจากไม่สามารถเก็บรักษาได้ด้วยวิธีการปกติ โดยการนำฟันที่ ไม่ใช้งานหรือฟันที่ขึ้นไม่ได้ ขึ้นผิดที่หรือฟันที่ฝังอยู่ในกระดูกย้ายไปปลูกถ่ายแทนที่ แนวคิดนี้นำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในคลินิกได้อีก2แบบคือ
1 การเปลี่ยนตำแหน่งของฟันที่อยู่ในเบ้าฟันเดิมหรือที่เรียกว่า tooth reposition หรือ tooth upright
2 การถอนฟันออกเพื่อให้การรักษานอกช่องปากแล้วนำกลับใส่ตำแหน่งเดิม เรียกว่า replantation
ทั้ง 2 วิธีนำมาพิจารณาร่วมกับการปลูกถ่ายฟันให้ตนเองได้เนื่องจากมีกระบวนการหายของแผล และการดูแลรักษาเป็นไป ในลักษณะเดียวกัน
