Development of cervical cancer screening system using HPV DNA Test method Udon Thani Province

Cervical cancer was major public health problem in many countries. It was the 4th most common cause of death among women worldwide and also an important public health problem in developing countries. This research aimed to study the development of cervical cancer screening system using the HPV DNA Test in Udon Thani Province. This research and development between July - November 2024, the sample group was divided into 2 groups: 167 network personnel and 211 women aged 30–60 years. Research instruments was a questionnaire as follows: network participation, awareness and motivation of women. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Paired t-test. Results of this study found that development of cervical cancer screening system using the HPV DNA Test in Udon Thani Province. Integrating the quality process of the PDCA cycle, the cervical cancer screening system include: targeting provincial management and policy, there was policy of node hospitals and network service units, plan for local health funds and proactive public relations plan for access to screening and treatment services. It was found that after developing network, there was an average of participation in performing cervical cancer screening services statistically significant increase (p <0.001). After received motivation program for cervical cancer screening the target group's overall awareness about cervical cancer increased significantly (p < 0.001) and overall motivation increased significantly (p < 0.001). Conclusion: The development of cervical cancer screening system using the HPV DNA Test method could provide comprehensive services, resulting in increased access to screening and treatment services for women through targeted criteria.
