Abstract

                 The purpose of this research was to study the health behaviors and their relationship with personal factors of overweight people. It was conducted in November 2015 in Mithmaiteesumpun Community, Nongchok District, Bangkok. The samples of 210 overweight people in the community were selected by stratified random sampling based on gender. Data were obtained by using questionnaire; and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and chi-square test. It was found that the health behav-iors of overweight people were in at moderate level. The behaviors of the overweight people for food consumption, physical activity, stress management, and personal hygiene were at a moderate level; and significantly associated with gender and age (p>0.05). There was no statistical significant relationshipsbetween the health behaviors and education, income or occupation of the overweight people.
