Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

โรคโควิด-19 (COVID- 19) เป็นโรคติดต่ออันตรายร้ายแรง ที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อระบบสุขภาพ เศรษฐกิจ และสังคมอย่างรุนแรงในหลายประเทศทั่วโลก จากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ในปัจจุบัน พบว่ายังคงมีความรุนแรง มียอดผู้เสียชีวิตต่อวันเพิ่มสูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งในกลุ่มของผู้เสียชีวิตส่วนใหญ่เป็นกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ เนื่องจากผู้สูงอายุเป็นวัยที่มีระบบภูมิคุ้มกันเสื่อมถอยลง ทำให้เสี่ยงติดเชื้อโรคโควิด-19 ได้ง่าย และอาจมีอาการรุนแรงถึงขั้นเสียชีวิตได้ ปัจจุบันพบว่าผู้สูงอายุมีระดับความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพต่ำเมื่อเทียบกับประชากรในวัยอื่น ๆ โดยจากหลายการศึกษาพบว่า ถ้าผู้สูงอายุมีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพที่เพียงพอ จะสามารถคงไว้ซึ่งการมีสุขภาพดีอยู่เสมอในยุคการระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ส่งผลต่อการมีคุณภาพชีวิตทางด้านสุขภาพที่ดีขึ้น บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทบทวนเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับบทบาทพยาบาลในการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19

พยาบาลมีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพของผู้สูงอายุ ในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ได้แก่ 1) ด้านการเข้าถึงข้อมูลสุขภาพ และบริการ  (Access skill) 2) ด้านความรู้ความเข้าใจ (Cognitive skill) 3) ด้านทักษะการสื่อสาร (Communication skill)  4) ด้านทักษะการจัดการตนเอง (Self-management skill) 5) ด้านการรู้เท่าทันสื่อ (Media literacy skill) และ 6) ด้านทักษะการตัดสินใจ (Decision skill)  เพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อโรคโควิด-19 ในผู้สูงอายุ

Abstract

COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that severely affects many countries' health, economic and social systems. From the current situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, it is found that there is still violence. The daily death toll has continued to rise in which most of the deceased were older adults because older adults are the age groups with a deteriorating immune system makes a risk it’s easy to get COVID-19 and can have severe symptoms that can lead to death. Currently, it is found that older adults have lower levels of health literacy compared to other age populations, with studies showing that older adults who have adequate health literacy will be able to maintain good health in the era of the COVID-19 outbreak, resulting in a better quality of life in health. This article aimed to review the content on the role of nurses in promoting health literacy among older adults in the epidemic situation of COVID-19.

Nurse has important roles in promoting health literacy among older adults in the situation of the epidemic of COVID-19 according to the composition of knowledge of health namely 1) access skill 2) cognitive skill 3) communication skill 4) self-management skill 5) media literacy skill and 6) decision skill to prevent COVID-19 among older adults.
