Evaluation Research of the Performance of Development of Starred Tambon Health Promoting Hospitals, Yala Province

This evaluation research aimed to assess context, inputs, processes and products of the performance of development the starred Tambol Health Promoting Hospitals by CIPP model. In total, 48 Key informants consisted of executives, health workers in Tambol Health Promoting Hospitals , evaluation and development steering committee, and service recipients. The data were collected by using in-dept interviews, focus group and summary of secondary data of the performance by the 2018 – 2022. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The results found that 1) Context : the development of the Starred Tambol Health Promoting Hospitals was issued as the health system development strategies of the province; the policies and MOUs were given to district administrators. 2) Input : budget provincially were supported for program; an appointing a steering committee, manuals, materials, equipment were supported; and personnel were sufficient. 3) Process : the development of Starred Tambol Health Promoting Hospitals was performed by hospital network - multidisciplinary mentor team; using PDCA was applied to improve and develop continuously. 4) Product : all settings of Stared Tambol Health Promoting Hospitals were accredited in 2022; trend of health outcomes were improves. Comparison 2021-2022 such as, screening for Diabetes over the age of 35 increase form 93.85 percent to 94.49, coverage vaccine in children 1 year from 64.37 percent to 68.66 percent. Success factors were the participation of health professionals, given the importance of administrators in all levels, having developmental strategy and monitoring system. The research suggested that the primary care service quality should be performed continuously and proactive services in community. Using the strategy of District Health System to solve the local problems, apply technology to access the health services for people, to increase Health literacy and Health behaviors in order to have good health and well – being.
