Abstract

Abstract

           This research was a descriptive research study that focuses on the factors affecting the efficiency of the operation on local health security fund in Mueang Maha Sarakham District. Maha Sarakham Province. The population used in this study was the local health security fund committee. Mueang Maha Sarakham District, Mahasarakham Province, a total of 121 people from 15 funds. The research tool used a questionnaire  to collect data. The statistics used to analyze data were percentage, mean, standard deviation. and the statistics used to test the hypothesis were the correlation coefficient.

           The results showed that the level of education and income affects the performance of local health insurance funds. The readiness of the fund, personnel, budget and materials, equipment and technology affect the efficiency of the operation on local health security fund in Mueang
Maha Sarakham District. Management factors planning organization in organizing people to work administration coordination reporting and budgeting affecting the performance of all local health security funds (r = 0.846, p-value < 0.001)                  

           Therefore, there should be promotion and support for budget support from the private sector and supply equipment enough and ready for the fund's operations. The National Health Security Office should provide more training and support to the fund committees to have a better management to promote the efficiency of the local health security fund. And should provide training to educate the local health security fund committee on the preparation of project plans. In order to result in more efficient operations.
