Objective : To develop and evaluate a care model for patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis with the participation of a multidisciplinary team. Phayakkhaphum Phisai District Maha Sarakham Province
Study method : Action research From June 2023 - March 2024, sample group 1) multidisciplinary team and network partners, totaling 61 people
2) 3 patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. Research tools include treatment guidelines for multidrug-resistant tuberculosis patients with a 9-month short-term drug regimen. Data collection tools: 1) in-depth interview form 2) NTIP program 3) drug side effect assessment form4) satisfaction questionnaire Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including number, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Qualitative data used content analysis method.
Results : It was found that the developed model consisted of 3 issues as follows: 1) Develop standards and models of care for patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. 2)Develop human resources for multidisciplinary teams. 3) Monitoring treatment and providing care and support. The results of the work revealed that 1 patient was cured, 1 patient was completely cured, and 1 patient is currently being treated. The multidisciplinary team had a high level of satisfaction with the use of this model.
Conclusion : This model of care for patients with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis This allows patients to receive effective treatment. and no patient died
