อุบัติการณ์และปัจจัยเสี่ยงของการติดเชื้อเยื่อบุช่องท้องในผู้ป่วยล้างไตทางช่องท้อง

Abstract

                                                                                                                ABSTRACT

           Renal failure is a major Thai public heaith problem. Ministry of Public Health and National Health Security hence have established the peritoneal dialysis (PD). Program for all renal failure patients. The main issue of the PD is infection. Kosumphisai hospital has been provided PD since January 2017. This syudy aimed to describe incidence and factors associated infection in PD patients. This was a descriptive study. We retrospectively reviewed medical records of all PD patients with aged of over 20 who treated at Kosumphisai hospital between  January 2017 and  January 2019. Baseline charecteristics of all patients were recorded including history of infected PD, incidence of infected PD. Clinicalfactors were compared between those with and without infected PD.

           Result Duringthe study period, there were 130 eligible PD patients. Infected PD was reported in 22 patients and 0.20 time/patient/year. Those who had infected PD had significantly lower albumin level to 3.5 g/dL (p=0.028)
