Abstract

                                                                                                               ABSTRACT

           This research is research and development. Objective To create and develop guidelines for the care system for terminal cancer patients admitted to Sadao Hospital. Using the Deming Quality Development Cycle Concept, A specific randomized sample was doctors who examined terminal cancer patients and considered admitting in to inpatients. The tools used were a guideline-based screening system and doctor's order sheet forms. Check for the validity of the content by 5 experts and questionnaire the feasibility of the implementation of the guideline in 3 areas: 1) Ease and Ease of Use         2) Clarity of the guideline. (It is understood) and 3) the possibility of practical application. The data were analyzed by distributing frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.

             The PDCA-based quality development cycle can effectively create and improve the quality of terminal cancer care practices. The results of each step were Plan and Do, developed into a guideline-based screening system and doctor's order sheet forms. Check and Act, summarizing the possibilities as follows: The overall separation system was at a high level (X = 2.62; SD = 0.52) and the doctor's order form overall was at a high level      (X = 2.81; SD = 0.41), respectively. Improve according to suggestions and revise before use.
