Abstract

            The coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) outbreak has had an impact on public health, both physical and mental health, including affecting the economy. Patients during of coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) receive services at Kamphaeng Saen Hospital are also one of the affected populations.  The purpose of this study was to explore the risk of stress and depression of patients during the of coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) classified by demographic characteristics using the MENTAL HEALTH CHECK IN questionnaire of the Department of Mental Health. Study performed at Kamphaeng Saen Hospital after assessing the questionnaire. Data was presented by number, percentage, mean standard deviation, t-test and One-Way ANOVA. The results of the study found that stress (M = 6.42, SD = 2.53) and depression (M = 10.75, SD = 3.71) of patients during of coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) mean scores were at the moderate level. This stress affects the mood, causing unstable mood swings. and resulting in depression in the future and different gender, ages, occupation, and average monthly income a different level of stress and depression with statistically significant at .01. Personal data is classified by gender. no different. It was found that the patients with different age, occupation and average monthly income were different. There was           a statistically significant difference in stress and depression at the 0.01 level, and it was found that the male and female patients had no statistically significant difference in stress and depression.
