The objective of this research was to study the results of the self-management promotion program on patients' knowledge about self-management,quality of life of heart failure patients In the female medical ward Kumphawapi Hospital and comparing the results of using a self-management promotion program on the quality of life of heart failure patients. In the female medical ward Kumphawapi Hospital Kumphawapi, DistrictUdon, Thani Province. It is Quasi-Experimental Designs. Study a sample group, patients diagnosed by a doctor as Being a patient with heart failure, There is a specific selection process. They are patients aged 18 years and over who are being treated in the female medical ward. Kumphawapi Hospital, 45 people. The research tool is divided into 4 parts, 1) general information of the respondents 2)Knowledge assessment on promoting self-management of patients with heart failure, 4 steps 3)Measurement of quality of life for heart failure patients in patients with 4 aspects of heart failure 4)It is an open-ended questionnaire for respondents to give their opinions. Satisfied with patients and relatives. Quantitative data were analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations. and Inferential Statistics Analysis using Paired T-test.
Results were as follows: The results of the program to promote self-management of patients with heart failure and overall knowledge were foundPatients' knowledge in promoting self-management and quality of life in heart failure increased significantly with statistical significance p-value < 0.05. Knowledge comparison results and quality of life of heart failure patients in the female medical ward Kumphawapi Hospital found that both before and after using the program to promote self-management on the quality of life of heart failure patients, Kumphawapi Hospital found that there was no significant p-value < 0.05. Nurses play a role in promoting the potential of patients to take care of themselves in order to maintain their health condition. self-monitoring and helps them have the skills to manage and take care of themselves very well There was no worsening of heart failure and a better quality of life.
