Dengue Fever Awareness
Abstract
During this rainy season, a group of diseases that cannot be mentioned is the "Aedes mosquito disease group". No human-to-human contact. Dengue fever, Chikungunya fever, and Zika fever Dengue fever is a public health problem in many countries around the world, especially tropical countries with heavy rainfall such as Thailand. This makes the larvae of the Aedes mosquito in large quantities and grow well. Dengue virus (DENV) usually occurs in the rainy season, but is currently found throughout the year. In large cities with high concentrations of people, the likelihood of dengue outbreaks increases. It can occur in any age group. It is more common in children. The age group with dengue fever the most is 10-14 years old, followed by 5-9 years, 15-24 years old, and 25-34 years old, respectively. In cases where the disease is very severe or not properly treated, complications can be life-threatening. The death rate is 1 per 1,000 patients due to 2 main causes: heavy bleeding and blood leakage from the veins leading to shock.
