Focus and Scope

To disseminate knowledge gained from research, research, or various innovations and movements in medical science. Dentist, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences Nursing and public health are a medium of academic relations between practitioners. Strengthen knowledge, academic progress and good understanding.

Types of articles

  • Editorial article
  • Original article: Articles that present new knowledges obtained from research, patient reports, or innovation in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing Care, Public Health and Medical Sciences that have not been published in other journals or books.
  • Case report: It is an interesting patient report. For example, injuries, rare disorders or diseases which worth studying or use innovative methods or new tools to treat patients.
  • Review article: The articles obtained from the collection take the knowledge of a particular subject published in journals or books, or from the author's work and experience, and compile them and analyze, criticize or compare them in order to gain more depth or clarity on the subject.
  • Special article: It is an academic article related to the field of Medicine. Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public health, and Medical Sciences may be in the form of analysis, criticism, or administrative articles that are relevant and found useful.
  • Misscellaneus: The other articles or reports related to Medical, Public Health and Environmental aspects that are useful or articles that promote good understanding among Chonburi Hospital practitioners and related persons
  • Continuing Education article: It is a clinical, radiology, and parasiological problem so that readers can practice their skills in differentiating various diseases that may be encountered during their work.

Peer Review

Academic articles include original articles, case report and review articles will be considered and moderated by at least 3 qualified professionals. The submitter and the reviewer will not know each other's names. Articles of individuals within Chonburi Hospital will be considered by qualified people outside Chonburi Hospital. The submitted article must not have been published or is under consideration for publication by another journal. Articles related to human research will be considered for publication in the journal of Chonburi Hospital. Only research that has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee must be accompanied by a copy of the Human Research Ethics Committee. Research reports or articles in the journal of Chonburi Hospital are the opinions of the authors only. The journal editors do not always have to agree.

     Peer Review Process

  • All articles must be reviewed by at least 2 in 3 expert qualified person.
  • Qualified people and the author do not know each other's names. (double-blind review)
  • Articles related to human research will only be considered for publication when article has been approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

General duties and responsibilities of Editors

Editors should be responsible for everything published in their journals. They should:

• strive to meet the needs of readers and authors;

• constantly improve the journal

• ensure the quality of the material they publish

• champion freedom of expression

• maintain the integrity of the academic record

• preclude business needs from compromising intellectual standards

• always be willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed

Chonburi Hospital Journal is an academic journal of Chonburi Hospital. Published in 1975
