Although embedded maxillary incisors are well recognized as problematic in both function and esthetics of patients, treatments of the embedded teeth remain varying widely. Differences in treatmemts lead into a range of outcomes and benefits to patients in terms of the function, esthetics, cost and lengths of treatment. This article describes a case report of a 10-year-old child with an embedded of upper left maxillary incisor. The child was treated by orthodontic forced eruption by fixed appliance with minimal exposure of the placed orthodontic wire. After 12 months of treatment, the tooth was moved into a favorable position with both functional and esthetics. In addition, the artificially erupted tooth showed no loss of vitality and no periodontal anomalies. This approach is simple, easy to perform with favorable outcomes as shortening a length and reducing costs of treatment.
