Acute Myocardial Infarction at Prae Hospital: A Report of Two Cases

Abstract

The first case was a 54 years old man admitted to Prae Hospital with the chief compaints of acute chest pain, chest discomfort and epigastric pain. He has neither past history of heart disease not chest pain except heavy smoking. The second case was a 75 years old woman admitted with the chief compaints of chest pain dyspnea cooling of both extremities and sweating She has history of heart disease with inadequate treatment  and some smoking. Both cases were admitted in ICU , EKG tracing and monitoring showed ST segment elevation and slightly increased cardiac enzymes (SGOT). After treatment for 4-7 days, the patients were much improved and discharged from the hospital in satisfactory condition.
