Abstract

                This research aimed to (1) study personal characteristic factors ,factors of committee on professions and management characteristic factors of committee on professions; (2) study operation according to authority of committee on professions under the healing arts practices act; (3) study relationship between personal characteristic factors , factors of committee on professions and management characteristic factors of committee on professions under the healing arts practices act; and (4) study problems, obstacles and suggestions in operation according to authority of committee on professions under the healing arts practices act. The study population was committee on professions under the healing arts practices act of 157 persons. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Fisher exact Probability Test, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient.

            The research revealed operation according to authority of committee on professions under the healing arts practices act were at a high level and the factors significantly statistic related to operation according to authority of committee on professions was management characteristic factors of committee on professions (p<0.001). The problems, obstacles, and suggestions in operations according to authority of committee on professions under the healing arts practices act that most same comment is the consideration of various problems that occurs must wait for the cycle of the meeting. In many times, the problems related to other organizations cause delays in implementation.
