แนวคิดการพัฒนาเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคไข้เลือดออกของประชาชนตำบลท่าช้าง อำเภอนครหลวง จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา

Abstract

ABSTRACT

            The objectives of this study were 1) to study characteristics of population, leading factors, enabling factors and supportive factors related to prevention behavior of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) disease of the people in Tachang sub-district, and 2) find development guidelines to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) of the people in Tachang bub-district, Nakhon Luang district, Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya province. The sample consisted of 360 people in Tachang sub-district.The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation.  

            The findings showed that:

1. Most people are 21-40 years old and they get married.  They graduated from high schools or vocational schools and they are agriculturists. Their knowledge about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) was at a high level.  The participation in the activity to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) by using Larvicidal Sand Granule every three months and they agreed that all of them were responsible for preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).     The condition of housing was a single house located near water sources such as canals, and there was a lot of overgrown grass.  They did not travel to another town within one month.  The supportive factors were that they got information about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) from health officers a month ago. The best way to get information was organizing training.  
2. The development guidelines of preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) of the people in Tachang sub-district, Nakhon Luang district, Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya province were set for 3 strategies: 1) network strategy of preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), 2) development strategy of local IT, and 3) strategy of creating consciousness of preventing   Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) within 3 objectives, 8 indicators and 11 activities.
