Abstract

Analytic research The analytic cross sectional study was designed to investigate the effectiveness and factors associated with the effectiveness of the Matrix program in the Kwan Samphan Camp, Sampran District, Nakhon Pathom province. Admitted to the treatment. Camp Data were collected from 131 interviewees from April to May 2016, representing 100% of the sample population. Data were analyzed using computer program. The statistics used were descriptive statistics (percentage, mean and standard deviation) and chi-square test.

The study indicated that 95.42% of the respondents were male and 48.86% were 41 and over. Most of them were married. Have knowledge of junior high school or vocational. And most hired workers. Drug use information was found. Adults have experienced more than one type of drug use. Most are amphetamines. The first drug use was between the ages of 10 and 19 years, and the family with the highest drug use was the father. The overall knowledge of drug harm reduction was good. Data on attitudes toward drug use were found. The therapist has a good and accurate attitude that the successful completion of the drug should be commended. Overall, the attitudes of drug users to drug use, the average drug use was not accurate. Evidence of family functioning was found. Overall, average family functions do not perform well or do not understand their roles. The correlation between family, friends, and community environment. Overview of relationships among friends and family. Therapists choose to stay with friends as well as obey friends rather than parents or guardians. For fear of friends will stop dating. The environment was found. In the community of drug users, there are neighbors who are addicted to drugs. The effectiveness of the treatment. Patients undergoing drug treatment 51.14% had effective treatment. When testing factors related to the effectiveness of drug therapy, the Matrix program found that marital status was significantly correlated with the effectiveness of drug therapy (P- value <0.05).

Based on the findings. Should start with the appropriate drug selection process. Increased community involvement in all processes. After completion of the follow-up, the satisfaction of drug and community patients should be evaluated in order to develop the model appropriately.
