THE OPERATION OF PRIMARY CARE CLUSTER ON PLAKRAT MODEL

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the performance on treatment, service access, and service quality of primary care cluster team 2) study the assurance of client 3) study the readiness of primary care cluster team and 4) study the guideline of the operation primary care cluster on Plakrat model with workforce, material, place, and budget in 4 sub-district health promoting hospitals. The samples were 122 clients with questionnaire, and 14 persons who are the primary care cluster team with focus group. The data were statistically analyzed by using frequency and percentage, and used content analysis in qualitative analysis.
The results found that 1) the performance on treatment, service access and service quality of primary care cluster team were at high level, 2) the client had assurance to care quality both doctor and nurse, convenient travel, and reduce cost, 3) the primary care cluster team had readiness for operation of chronic disease and increasing potential on personnel, place, and material, whereas workforce should more supporting, and 4) the guideline of the operation of primary care cluster on Plakrat model could response policy on safety service, reducing crowding and waiting, reducing inequality, reducing cost in 4 sub-district health promoting hospitals effectively.
