Abstract

The objective of this research is study about the influence factors related to consumer protection activities of local government organizations in northeast province of Thailand. Populations are the direct or government officer of public health of municipalities or head division of consumer protection operations in northeast province of Thailand, collecting survey data from 887 persons and representatives 268 respondents returned, the questionnaires that were examined for reliability of data collection.

          Result, Consumer protection operations in health products of northeast province of Thailand overall in middle level, Empowering consumers have highest, average 3.29 (S.D. = 0.993) in middle level, Inferior is promotion of entrepreneurs in health products, average3.28 (S.D. = 1.067) in middle level and part of network and participation is a lowest,average2.67 (S.D. = 0.975) in middle level. Personnel factors in sex, age, marital status, educational level, position in work, income, service age, length of work by position and receiving consumer protection training are not related to consumer protection, and information of department in part department of consumer protection, operating budget for consumer protection and number of personnel are related to consumer protection activities of local administration organizations in northeast province of Thailand by statistically significant at a level of 0.05 (0.002, 0.001 and 0.001 respectively).
