The Study of Factors Related to the Implementation of Prevention and Solution of Adolescent Pregnancy Problem of the Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Problem Subcommittee at the Provincial level and Bangkok

This study aims to understand the factors related to the implementation of prevention and solution of adolescent pregnancy problem of the Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Problem Subcommittee at the provincial level and in Bangkok. This quantitative study was conducted with members of the Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Problem Subcommittee in 62 provinces nationwide, which can be divided into two group, namely group 1: passed the criteria (44 provinces) and group 2: not passed the criteria (18 provinces including Bangkok), between March and August 2020, using questionnaires as a key data collection tool. Descriptive and inferential statistical (Chi-square test) methods were used for data analyses to find the factors that associated the implementation of prevention and solution of adolescent pregnancy problem of the Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Problem Subcommittee at the provincial level and in Bangkok. The result shows that database factor was significantly associated with the implementation of the prevention and solution of adolescent pregnancy problem (p-value < 0.05). In addition, we should consider to promote the knowledge and understanding about the Act for Prevention and Solution of the Adolescent Pregnancy Problem, B.E. 2559 (2016) among all Subcommittee members. Furthermore, the database of teenage pregnancy prevention and solution which can reflex the problems in all levels should be developed.
