Abstract

This cross-sectional descriptive research aimed to study personal characteristics and motivation affected the performance according to the national standard for early childhood care, development and education Thailand of child care teachers at early childhood care in Udon Thani province, Thailand. 225 samples were randomly selected by using stratified random sampling techniques from the 1,004 populations and 12 key informants were used in-depth interview guidelines. Data was collected by using the questionnaires and analysis was performed by descriptive and inferential statistics at the significance level of 0.05. The results showed that overall motivation and the national standard for early childhood care, development and education Thailand of child care teachers at early childhood care in Udon Thani province, Thailand were at high level The four variables consisted of three variables of the hygiene factors; personal life, interpersonal relationship, policy and administration, and one variable of the motivation factors; a responsibility, that were affected and could jointly predict the national standard for early childhood care, development and education Thailand of child care teachers at early childhood care in Udon Thani province, Thailand at 66.4 percent (R2 = 0.664, p-value < 0.001).
