Abstract

Background : The roles and duties of the community pharmacy profession in providing services and protecting the drug welfare of patients and the general public such as row-house pharmacies, pharmacies in shopping centers, chain stores pharmacies, etc. However, modern pharmacists tend to operate and own modern pharmacies in various forms, which may operate independently or in the form of a combination of pharmacists.

Objectives : Thus, this research aims to study the process of the Future Search Conference (FSC) in developing the potential of modern pharmacy entrepreneurs according to good pharmacy Practice (GPP), Maha Sarakham Province. Analyze the factors that affect assessment results based on good pharmacy Practice (GPP) of modern pharmacies. And Create a potential development model for modern pharmacy entrepreneurs based on Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) in Maha Sarakham Province.

Method : It is mixed-method research. Phase 1 Qualitative Research Methods It is an application of the Future Search Conference - FSC in the target group of modern pharmacy entrepreneurs in the target group of modern pharmacy entrepreneurs. through group discussions and brainstorming To determine the potential development guidelines for modern pharmacy entrepreneurs, totaling 82 people. Phase 2 Quantitative Research Methods A study of the population of 128 modern pharmacies in Maha Sarakham Province.

Result : The results show that the target audience is satisfied and wants regulators. Promote and develop entrepreneurial potential. Overall, it was at a high level of 96.34%. Emphasize and participate in the process of Future Search Conference 100%. The sample group jointly analyzed the good pharmaceutical practice (GPP) situation in the past, compared it with the current situation, and expected things to happen in the future. And set guidelines and agreements together to develop the potential of entrepreneurs to strictly comply with the law. And the research results of the sample group were 67.10% males, 72.90%, mean age 40.20 (SD = 10.56). There is a pharmacist in the shop selling modern medicines during business hours 75.56%. Readiness to comply with GPP standards, 92.00%. The assessment results of good pharmaceutical practice (GPP) overall have the mean scores at a good level with the mean equal to 1.73 (SD=0.34). The scores passed the evaluation criteria of 82.80 percent, with an assessment score at a good level (level 2), followed by a fair score (level 1) 13.20 percent and the assessment score is in the criteria that need improvement 4.00 percent. Factors Affecting Good Pharmaceutical Practices (GPP) Assessment Results of Modern Pharmacy. In Maha Sarakham Province, including the gender factor, Factors of having a pharmacist stationed at the place where modern medicines are sold all the time, Factors related to agencies have support for the law, Announcement and changed terms. Factoring in the use of higher pharmacy budgets to develop pharmacies to meet GPP standards. Factors of professional ethics or conscience of pharmacists who operate in pharmacies. Factors in giving advice and communicating with consumers or customers who come to receive services at the pharmacy are good and satisfied. All 6 predictor variables had predictive power or could explain the variance of the assessment scores based on the Good Pharmaceutical Practices (GPP) of modern pharmacies. In Maha Sarakham Province, 50.90% (R2 = 0.509, P < 0.05). And using the forecasting equation to create a model for developing the potential of modern pharmacy entrepreneurs (Khor 1) according to the Good Pharmaceutical Practices (GPP) in Maha Sarakham Province.
