A Study of Job Satisfaction of Village Health Volunteers in Sub-District Health Promoting Hospitals in Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization and Ratchaburi Provincial Public Health Office in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province

The purpose of this survey research was to study and compare the job satisfaction of village health volunteers in sub-district health-promoting hospitals in Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization and Ratchaburi Provincial Public Health Office in Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province. The population consisted of 364 Village Health Volunteers. Sample size determination using Yamane's formula to 100 people with purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with Alpha-Coefficient 0.78, the data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test The results showed that:
the village health volunteers in sub-district health-promoting hospitals in the Ratchaburi Provincial Public Health Office, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province had job satisfaction at a high level (X̅ = 3.78, S.D. = 0.89) but performance satisfaction of village health volunteers in sub-district health promoting hospitals in the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization at a moderate level. (X̅ =3.74, S.D.= 0.85) The comparison of levels of job satisfaction between the village health volunteers in sub-district health-promoting hospitals in the Ratchaburi Provincial Administrative Organization and village health volunteers in sub-district health-promoting hospitals in the Ratchaburi Provincial Public Health Office, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province had differences of job satisfaction.
