Abstract

Electronic cigarette is a product that has been claimed to be safe for health. However, theWorld Health Organization (WHO) has informed that this claim may not be unacceptable unlesssupported by scientific evidence. The electronic cigarette manufacturers extensively carried outresearch to confirm the non-toxicity of their product. Nevertheless, recently available electroniccigarettes have various additives added which most likely increase toxicity especially after beingheated. Thus, electronic cigarette are still prohibited for importing and selling in many countriesincluding Thailand.
