Abstract

This article reported the clinical study of one visit endodontic treatment for anterior teeth and premolar teeth performed in Chomthong Hospital, Chiangmai, during 1991-1993. The study was done by evaluating the incidence of postoperative pain after root canal preparation by the doubleflared technique. Sixty-three anterior teeth and thirty-four premolar teeth with necrotic pulp were prepared and filled in one visit. No difference was observed in the incidence of postoperative pain between two groups in seven days, and no difference was observed in the radiographic evidence of twenty-seven anterior teeth and nineteen premolar teeth after two years.
