The Center for Continuing Medical Education Approved Institutes : The Important Institutes of Center for Continuing Medical Education-สถาบันหลัก กำลังสำคัญของศูนย์การศึกษาต่อเนื่องของแพทย์

Abstract

        In a survey of activities and opinions of Center for Continuing Medical Education (CCME) approved institutes questionnaires via E-mail and posts, and publicized on the website between August 1, 2007 and September 30, 2007. Subsequently 54 of 133 CCME approved institutes responded, accounting for 40.6 percent response rate. 

        As a result, there were 44 CCME approved institutes, 81.5 percent, operating with Continuing Medical Education (CME) unit. Academic meeting was the most frequent CME activities performed by CCME approved institutes within a period of 5 years. Moreover, only 7 CCME approved institutes fully realized their roles. Considering interactions with CCME, 57.5 percent found it convenient, while the other 17.5 percent did not. They underlined rooms of improvement on information, database and software while 51 of them (94.4%) stated their interest to participate in a seminar on CCME approved institutes.
