Abstract

This article focuses on social determinants of health among elderly includng economical, technol­ogy and cultural changes which affected the coexistence of people in the communities. The article also includes suggestions for problem-solving on the social health promotion of elderly under the rule of com­munities’ faith and local resources but also reflected on the health empowerment activity of the elderly. The coordination of local wisdom and health need, the learning process and the social health promotion of elderly with Lanna local wisdom and Buddhism learning applications to the strategy in the community under economics, social, and physical property of the natural resource are positively correlated with el­derly’s social health promotion behavior.
