Abstract

This study about development of health literacy community. The objective is to study in process and development of health literacy community assessment. The study was conducted in 12 health areas, divided into one health area. The Data were collected by questionnaire and interview, focused group interview by online from those involved in the operation. Such as Public Health Technical Officer, Village Health Volunteer, Chief Executive of the Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Subdistrict Headman, Village Headman, Teacher and club representative in this area. The quanlitative data analysis by percentage and the content analysis by quanlitative data, calculation to interpretation and presentation.

          The results of the study found that, the processing for development of health literacy community. 1) The operation is impose a policy and promoting of health literacy and behavioral of integration. The operation in community school and health promoting hospital. Have the Leadership or development in the committee or working group, including relevant parties and people in the area. 2) The study of community by information data system about health status of people. The health literacy and behavioral of cause problem, the data of area status 3) Planning to development of participation 4) The operation in activity of knowledge and health communication in community and various schools. The example the center of health knowledge, stage for exchange knowledge, personal and community media. The organize learning activities for groups of people who receive services of health care facilities such as, Corner of knowledge, Teaching media and learning activities, the education of Individual and group demonstrations. 5) The Provide an environment conducive to health learning in the community and school by people participation, such as place for learning exchange activities, the learning center of community, signs of knowledge of how to act at various points, as well as having a commitment of the community. 6) health surveillance and applying the results to adjust activities in the project. The health promotion activities involve groups, clubs, and health network partners in the area. Each area has innovations or works that affect health literacy and health behaviors. 7) The assessment of health literacy and health behaviors of people of both working and school age groups in health literacy communities found that, the operation of health literacy community lender to people of all age groups aware of the importance of health promotion. Reduce risk of health factors from this study. The results of the health literacy assessment and health behaviors of the people in working and school age groups in the 12 health literacy community areas, found that, the level was improved more than 70 percent of the people and people in the community have better health conditions.
