Abstract

Diabetes is a leading cause of complications and death. The problem found is that in 2019, there were 17 diabetic patients at Chon Somboon Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital, representing a morbidity rate of 634.33 per 100,000 population. The morbidity rate is higher than the average of Lopburi Province. with a sickness rate of 517.45 per 100,000 population by modifying health behaviors The past year has not been as successful as it should have been. Therefore interested in developing a model of the modification to be effective. by research and development The objectives of this study were to study the situation and develop a health behavior change model to reduce the incidence of diabetes among people at risk of diabetes and to develop innovations. Which is one way to reduce new diabetes patients. operates in the area of Chon Somboon Health Promoting Hospital Between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2021, the target groups are 3 groups of stakeholders, namely the director of the sub-district health promotion hospital and the person responsible for the work. public health volunteer and people at risk of diabetes in fiscal year 2020, 27 people, and fiscal year 2021, 34 people. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results of the study found that The situation of diabetes in the people at risk of diabetes before the event has increased. and a model for changing health behaviors of people at risk of diabetes There is still a lack of participation from all sectors and a lack of close monitoring of operations. After developing a model to modify health behaviors for people at risk of diabetes There was a participatory work from many agencies. There are innovations to educate people at risk of diabetes and the results of the before and after the implementation of the new model, classified annually. The incidence rate of diabetes continued to decline from 2019. After the operation, in 2020 and 2021, the rate of diabetes is 444.61, 518.33 per 100,000 population respectively, and people at risk of having sugar less than 125 mgdl increase by 77.77 percent in 2020 and 76.66 percent in 2021.

It was concluded that the development of a health behavior modification model to reduce the incidence of diabetes resulting in a quality health behavior change model. can be used in planning and operating in the development of personnel and tasks of the agency which can lead to chayaing results and applied in other areas to the provincial and national level.
