Health Service System Standards Development in health education for all level of hospitals

Abstract

The research was to investigate the process of reserch and development. The purposes of this study were : 1) to develop the health service system in health education for all level of hospitals. 2) to assess the satisfaction of users in Health Service System Standards Development in health education at Center hospital, General hospital and community hospital.The population in this study were 621 hospital with basic and delopment level citeria of the health service system in health education in 2018. The sample groups selected for this study were 300 hospital comprised Center hospital, General hospital and community hospital. The operations research has been divided into 4 steps : Step 1 : Analysing and Assessing the problem situation had two main parts – The first part of this study studied the situation of health service system. The second part of this study syntheticed the document and reviewed literature consisting of health education process, hospital accreditation and measurement of health service system. Step 2 : Drafting the proposal of standards had three main parts - The first part of this study held the meeting for public health officers working at office of health service support region 1-12 and public health officers related this topic to determine the draft of standard for health service system in health education. The second part of this study held the meeting for health experts from the Healthcare Accreditation institute (Public Organization) and health behavior experts from university to investigate the content validity. The third part of this study tryed out the standard for health service system in health education of public health officers working at office of health service support region 1-12, public and hospital. The overall reliability was 0.976 and explored the feasibility of using the standard of the health service system in health education to practical by using focus groups in person responsible for health education of hospital. Step 3 : Being used to implement to hospital. and Step 4 : Evaluating the satisfaction of Standard of health service system in health education at hospital.

The research founded that : 1) Health Service System Standards Development in health education for all level of hospitals divided into three categories including (1) administrative management consisting of standard for responsible person and standard for revising and managing risk plan. (2) health education process consisting of standard for promoting the health of inpatient in the community and standard for managing the health of patient in the hospital with the same area. and (3) outcome consisting of approptiate behavior, innovation in health education and developing the continuity plan.The center hospital and general hospital had 26 citerias and community hospital had 25 citerias.The difference was combined from research and innovation into 1 citeria for community hospital. 2) The most of users satisfied toward standard of health service system in health education in overall at the high level (X = 4.73). The center hospital, general hospital and community hospital used the standard of health service system in health education for effective practical guidance.The standard of health service system in health education affected both patients and inpatients having knowledge and skill to self care both individual, family and community.
