The objectives of this research are to develop guidelines for revenue increase of dental clinic in hospitals in Health Region 2, to study the characteristics of the problems and the readiness of the health care facilities. This study was carried out by using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The data was collected from Executive level, dentists who provided the services, and the patients who received the services by using in-depth inquiry, data recording forms, descriptive statistics data analysis, and content analysis. The result showed that most hospitals have baseline expenses. While they have potential to increase their revenues, some have not yet proceeded. The hospitals’ target patients, such as government employees and people with social security who have ability to pay full hospital fee, do not have access to the hospitals’ dental clinics during their convenient times. A measure used to provide better access for these groups is by extending service hours of the dental clinics, hence more revenue for the hospitals. This not only helps maximize the utilization of hospital resources, but it also generates additional income for health care personals. In the year 2019, the net revenues of hospitals which provide additional hours services are twenty percent more than when they only offered the services during regular hours. Furthermore, in 2019, there is only one hospital in Health Region 2 that is categorized as financial status 7 (highest level for crisis).
