Indicated Factors of Hypertension Patients with Stroke on set Arrive Time within and after the First Three Hours=ลักษณะบ่งชี้ของผู้ป่วยโรคความดันโลหิตสูงที่มีภาวะ Stroke ที่มาโรงพยาบาล ภายใน 3 ชั่วโมงแรกและมาภายหลัง 3 ชั่วโมง

Abstract

Background: Acute stroke, the condition of brain blood vessels that were ruptured or occluded, is one of serious disease. caused by  ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke. The study aims indicate factors of hypertension patient with stroke being treated in a delayed time may provide the medical operation information for transferring patients in to a treatment immediately. In addition this can reduce a period of time between occurring  symptoms and being treatment. This will reduce morbidity and mortality rate depended. 

Objective: To study indicated factors  of hypertension patient with  stroke being treated in a delayed  after three hours

Study design: This study was conducted by using retrospective cohort design. 153 of acute stroke patients with hypertension recruited in Emergency Room(ER) Sungmen Hospital Phrae from October 2014 to September 2016.The research instrument was the questionnaire demographic data, onset arrive time,medical records Hosxp Program. The sample was divided into two groups. which are patients who arrive within first three hours and others who arrive after three hours. Data were analyzed by using  t-test, exact probability test and risk ratio regression.

Results: There were 153 of acute stroke patient with hypertension. 75 patients (49.0%) onset arrive time within first three hours. 78 patients (51.0%) onset arrive time   after the first three hours. The stroke patients were not related  to onset  arrive time caused by hypertension patients more than 10 years (RR=1.46, p=0.093), onset of acute stroke in nighttime (RR=2.31, p < 0.001), and using emergency medical system (RR=1.77, p=0.028).

Conclusion: The finding of the study suggested that healthcare providers should provide information to increase perception of stroke ,and management for members of patients who are at risk of hypertension more than 10 years , onset of acute stroke in nighttime, and patient transfer related to onset arrive time by using emergency medical system
