Effectiveness of the screening model for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Den Chai District, Phrae Province

The objective of this research and development is to develop screening for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Den Chai District, Phrae Province, using research and development as a conceptual framework. The sample group consisted of 1) 38 people suspected of having chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 2) 10 medical personnel working in the multidisciplinary chronic obstructive pulmonary disease team at Denchai Crownprince Hospital. The tools used were a.form. Verbal risk screening record B. Peak Flow examination C. Spirometer examination Before and after using a bronchodilator inhaler and follow up and care for new patients in 6 processes, including 1. accessing services 2. evaluating 3. planning 4. caring
5. providing empowering information 6. Continuous care Content validity was checked by 3 experts. The index of consistency between the questions and objectives was between 0.80-1.00. Data were analyzed using frequency statistics, percentages, averages, and content analysis. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1) A form was obtained for screening patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 2) Screening results found 7 new patients, 18.42% were smokers, 57.14% were registered for treatment and received ICS LABA drugs. 71.42 percent since the beginning 4 asthma patients, 10.53 percent, 75.00 percent exposed to dust and smoke, 1 lung cancer patient, 2.63 percent 3) Patient outcomes 6-month home follow-up 71.43% of symptoms did not relapse, 75% quit smoking. Proactive screening of new COPD patients is a way to help find new patients and receive treatment both with and without severe symptoms, helping to control the disease. good There should be a campaign against cigarettes and monitoring of disease and health hazards.
