Abstract

This study is a research and development study. Aimed to develop a model to promote iodine nutrition in pregnancies. The researcher collected data by reviewing the iodine situation in Thailand, and the application of the PAOR process in conjunction with group discussions, by applying the theory of motivation for disease prevention, and social support theory in the development of the iodine nutrition promotion model in pregnant.

The results showed that I: the median iodine content in the urine of pregnant women surveyed by the Department of Health found that pregnant women were iodine deficient. But when pregnant women were given iodine tablets, the median urinary iodine content increased. statistically different from before taking iodine supplement tablets The problem was found in taking iodine supplement tablets such as forgetting to take the pills, the properties of the drug are not yet known, etc. II: A model for promoting iodine nutrition status in pregnant women in Bangkok, by using the Line Official Account (Line OA) application as a communication channel It consists of four key parts: (I) a correct iodine nutrition cognition model, (II) a daily dietary supplemental iodine supplement regimen, and (III) a prompting pattern. and creating a record form for taking medications for pregnant women; From the results of this research, This may lead to the development of face-to-face communication, education, and promotion programs to increase the efficiency of other communication channels.
