FACTORS RELATED TO QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG FARMER’S IN SRIWICHAI SUB-DISTRICT, LI DISTRICT, LAMPHUN PROVINCE

Abstract

 This cross-sectional survey study the objective is to study the quality of life of agriculture and factors related to the quality of life of agriculture in Siwichai sub-district, Li district, Lamphun province. The sample group is Farmers in Sriwichai sub-district, Li district, Lamphun province, totaling 280 households. Data collected between November 2021 and October 2022. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, standard deviation, and estimation 95%. The relationship was analyzed using the Pearson correlation coefficient. The research results found that Farmers in Sriwichai sub-district, Li district, Lamphun province, have an overall quality of life at a high level (  = 3.78, SD = 0.30). The confidence interval of 95% was between 3.74 to 3.82. Factors related to the quality of life of farmers include income from selling agricultural products, amount of farming land, and total household debt. Statistically significant (r_xy = .351, .291, and .128, respectively, p-value < .05), it is recommended that the government or related agencies have policies to develop the quality of life of farmers. The mosquito nets emphasize the factor of appropriate price of produce. Promote agricultural areas or have policies to increase agricultural loan limits, reduce interest rates, and extend debt repayment periods.
