Knowledge Attitude and Preventive Behaviors of Dengue Fever of people Ban Thepthaksin, Nongwaeng Sub-district, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

Abstract

This research is a type of research cross-sectional descriptive study objectives 1) the study knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behavior of dengue fever of People Ban Thepthaksin, Nong Waeng sub-district, Thepharak district Nakhon Ratchasima province 2) the study the relationship between knowledge Attitudes and preventive behavior of dengue fever of People Ban Thepthaksin, Nong Waeng sub-district, Thepharak District Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The samples used in the research were 111 people by Purposive Sampling. The research tool was a questionnaire. Which has been examined by experts The statistics used to analyze the data in this research. By enumerating the frequency (Frequencies) and percentages (Mean) and standard deviation (Pearson's Product Moment Correlation coefficient) statistics.

The results showed that the knowledge of dengue prevention of the people found that the sample group had a high level of knowledge about dengue prevention ( = 1.72, SD.= 0.23).  The people's attitudes about dengue prevention The average score was included in the high level ( = 3.96, SD.= 0.80). The behavioral aspect of dengue prevention had a high average level ( = 2.52, SD.= 0.48). The results of the analysis of the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and dengue prevention behaviors of people at Ban Theptaksin, Nong Waeng sub-district, Thepharak district Nakhon Ratchasima province. The results of the tables were found that the knowledge was statistically significantly associated with the prevention behavior of dengue fever at the level of 0.01 with a moderate level of association. Attitudes were related to dengue prevention behaviors of people at Ban Thepthaksin, Nong Waeng sub-district, Theparak district. Nakhon Ratchasima province has a statistical significance at .01, with a high degree of correlation.
