Development of controlling blood pressure levels model in hypertensive patients to prevent stroke in Ban Keng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Maha Sarakham Province

This Action Research aimed to study effects of controlling blood pressure levels model in hypertensive patients to prevent stroke in Ban Keng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Maha Sarakham Province. Sample group of 82 people between April and June 2024. Research tool was questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviation and Paired t-test
Results : found that effects of development of controlling blood pressure levels model in hypertensive patients to prevent stroke of family activities to participate 4 activities : 1) exchange of information, 2) patient care activities, 3) nursing activities, 4) decision making. After development patients' perception of risk stroke increased from mean 48.02 to 56.45, statistical significance (t = -10.07, p<0.001). Risk behavior decreased from mean 44.24 to 40.23, statistical significance (t = -8.831, p<0.001). Average health condition of the patients was normal level statistically significant increase (p<0.001). Quality of life of patients after development increased significantly (t = -8.692, p<0.001), increasing from an average of 76.76 to 88.78.
Suggestions : should be used of blood pressure control model in hypertension patients to prevent stroke for patients increased awareness of risk, risky behavior decreased, health conditions and patients' quality of life improved.
