Factors Related to Fatigue Level among Beauty Salon Workers in Khlong Nueng Sub-District, Khlong Luang District, Pathumthani Province

The objective of this research was to study factors related to fatigue level among beauty salon workers in Khlong Nueng Sub-district, Khlong Luang District, Pathumthani Province. The research was designed as a cross-sectional study. One hundred and ninety two beauty salon workers were selected using systematic random sampling. Data were collected by using a set of questionnaire which was divided into three sections: personal information, working conditions and fatigue level. Data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and chi square. It was found that the beauty salon workers had moderate fatigue level (56.30%), followed by high fatigue level (25.00%) and less fatigue level (18.80%). Marital status, underlying disease, reaching, declining, pulling, lifting, twisting body were significantly associated with fatigue (p<0.05). These findings suggested that beauty salon workers should be educated to prevent fatique; and health promoting hospitals should utilize the findings to plan, prevent, modify and support program addressing fatigue among beauty salon workers.
