Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to study the process of innovation creating; knowledge manage­ment and innovative behavior of Health Department officer, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration and to study of factors related to the innovative behavior of Health Department officer. The sample consisted of 123 Health Department officer by simple random sampling from those who had medical and public health innovations in fiscal year 2015-2018. The research instrument for data collection were questionnaire, data analysis by using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results showed 94.4 % of Health Department officer had a systematic innovation process, 84.9 % had knowledge manage­ment and high level of innovative behavior. Factors related to innovative behavior of Health Department offices with statistical significance (p <0.001) ie. work quality (r=0.41), executive support (r=0.49) and colleagues support (r=0.45).
