Development of Health service System among Rural Health Service Facilities Udon Thani

Abstract

In the past, the coverage of health services was not high enough to have the services available to all sectors. The main underlying reasons were (1) lacking of medical and health personnel, (2) no co – ordination of resource utilization and (3) lacking of suitable health delivery system. This would result in the inequality in terms of accessibility and quality of the services.

The Udon Thani Provincial Health Office has implemented a programmer to develop the rural health delivery system in order to provide the people easily accessible and qualified promotive, curative and preventive health services. The programmer has been operated by means of the development of the potential of health care facilities to be able to provide services efficiently to the people.
