Abstract

This research aimed to study knowledge, attitude and behavior on herbal medicinal products used among peoples in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The study samples were 324 people who lived in Nong Bua Sala village, Nong Bua Sala subdistrict, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, and age range of 20–60 years old. The samples were selected by accidental sampling method. The research instruments were questionnaires. The content validity and reliability of the questionnaire were analyzed. The reliability test of knowledge by KR-20 was 0.66. The reliability of the measurement attitude and behavior of herbal medicinal products used are Cronbach’s alpha coefficient were 0.75 and 0.79, respectively. The descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data. The results revealed that the majority of samples had knowledge, attitude and behavior on herbal medicinal products used at medium level, 51.2%, 82.1% and 90.7%, respectively. The result of this study could be used as baseline data for the plan to disseminate knowledge about the use of herbal medicinal products to improve health and safety of the people.
