The Infection of Masticator Space Caused by Pericoronitis of Lower Third Molar-การติดเชื้อบริเวณช่องปากและใบหน้า (Masticator Spaces)ที่มีสาเหตุมาจากฟัน

Abstract

           The treatment of infection of the masticator spaces was reported and discussed with severe swelling and trismus. Pericoronitis of the gingival flap of partially erupted lower third mom: is usually found as the cause of masticator spaces infection. The treatment consisted of hydration, high dosed antibiotics and surgical decompression.

            รายงานคนไข้ที่มีภาวะการติดเชื้อโดยเริ่มที่ช่องแมสติเกเตอร์ (Masticator - Spaces)และลุกลามไปยังบริเวณอื่นของช่องปากและใบหน้า ต้นเหตุจากฟันกรามล่างซี่สุดท้ายซึ่งมีการอักเสบของเหงือกรอบๆตัวฟัน(Pericoronitis)คนไข้ถูกรับไว้รักษาในหอผู้ป่วยให้การรักษาโดยฟื้นฟูสภาพร่างกายทั่วไป ให้ยาปฏิชีวนะขนาดสูงและทำการเจาะระบายหนอง ตามหลักการรักษาภาวะการติดเชื้อ พร้อมทั้งถอนฟันที่ต้นเหตุออก
