Abstract

This study aimed to verified knowledge received from the development of models and algorithms campaign to prevent AIDS and to empower workers through participatory learning process among project administrators, community leaders and stakeholders in the community. Body of knowledge identification was verified in many aspects. Verification on leadership demonstrated that all projects implemented leadership development or prepared and obtained for project staff and workers to drive the campaign. In overall potential capacity, the project staff or leaders had abilities to transfer knowledge and stimulate HIV prevention awareness. For networking aspect, it showed that leaders and workers were working mainly in their responsible area. For sustainability aspect, it was found that sustainability was depended on "innate knowledge" transferring and expanding to target population and the continuous growing of knowledge and information. To develop "natural volunteers", it was essential to include people in all groups and all ages to have knowledge and awareness on AIDS, to allow people for advising each other and to have continuous budget support from local administration. It was found that leaders and staff had capacity and strengths to work, however the picture on working together and in the same direction is still not clear. For capacity building, sharing on knowledge, media and innovations is needed in all groups in the community. The ultimate goal is to have continuous attitude adjustment and explanation implemented in everyone in com-munity and to develop collaborations among and across networks for working synchronization in the same direction.
