THE STUDY OF SITUATION AND HEALTH CARE MODEL IN THE COMMUNITY ELDERLY PEOPLE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW. การศึกษาสถานการณ์และรูปแบบการดูแลสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน: การทบทวนวรรณกรรมอย่างเป็นระบบ

บทคัดย่อ

          According to the proportions of elderly peoples in Thailand are increasing, the following problems in the future will be the increasing budget for elderly care especially health care. The elderly peoples usually have decreased in immunity as a result they may get more health problem than other aged group. Most of their problems are chronic diseases. Therefore, many studies of present situations and health care model in a community elderly people were conducted to gain the main concept for elderly care. The objective of this study was to explore the present situation and health care model in the community elderly people of Thailand. Seventeen academic papers published from 1997 to 2016 were systematic reviewed. The study period was from October 1st, 2017 to December 31st 2017. The focuses of this study were continuously accessing the health care system, integration care services, the holistic care, the coordination and community empowerment by family support, the community support, the support of elderly capability and continuous care, the availability of strongly community policy and special service for disadvantaged peoples. The result showed that there were 5 health care models for community elderly peoples including the elderly club, elderly care volunteer, temple for health promotion, multi-purpose center for community elderly peoples and the community radio station.
          In conclusion, the health care models for community elderly peoples should be the model that could fulfill their need to reduce their dependency and continuously promote their healthiness. The implementation of any models should be adjusted as appropriate for each community.
