Changes to the journal publication cycle

2025-12-24

The Executive Committee of the Chaiyaphum Medical Journal would like to announce a change to the publication cycle to improve the efficiency of academic dissemination and meet the needs of researchers and those interested in the public health sector. From 2026 onwards, the journal will change from publishing two issues per year to publishing three issues per year. This will allow for the acceptance of more high-quality articles and reduce the waiting time for authors for publication.

The new publication cycle will be: Issue 1 covering January-April, Issue 2 covering May-August, and Issue 3 covering September-December. This differs from the previous two-issue format (Issue 1 in January-June and Issue 2 in July-December). This adjustment will ensure more consistent and up-to-date article distribution. Furthermore, it aligns with the TCI database standards, which support journal continuity in publication and increase access to academic works.

The journal will continue to maintain its double-blinded peer review process by three qualified experts and will retain its Open Access policy, allowing interested parties to access articles free of charge.
