Nursing care of kidney cancer patient who recieved Laparoscopic Surgery

Abstract

The purpose of this case study was to examine the patient with kidney cancer who have been undergone the Laparoscopic operation in the operating room at Chaiyaphum Hospital, Chaiyaphum by using nursing process as a tool for Health Assessment. Nursing Diagnosis, Planing, Implementation and Evaluation are for efficiently nursing implementation and patient will be suitable treated with the problem. The case study is a Thai female patient who is 68 years old. She has Abdominal left side pain Hematuria. The doctor diagnosed her as Renal cell carcinoma left and planned for kidney cancer treatment by Laparoscope Radical Nephrectomy. Nurse went to visit patient before the operation at the WARD. The patient is anxious about her disease and afraid of surgery. The nurse has provided instructions about the preparation of surgery for reduce anxiety and was evaluated for repeated symptoms at Pre-OP in the morning. There are a patient care before, during and after the surgery. Assess the medical results and visit patient at the ward There are giving knowledge and instruction about benefit sources when returning home. Studying in this case study, using nursing process as a concept for order the step of activity that were systematically related and connected in each step. It affect to the patient who recieved laparoscopic surgery gain high - quality, safe and with out complication of nursing service.
